INDICATIONS:

Generally 10-15 drops three times daily, in some water. In acute cases, in the beginning of the treatment, 4-6 times daily. During the treatment the use of salt should be forbidden and only be allowed in small quantities after improvement has set in. With inflammation of the abdomen on both right and left sides the alternative use of R39 and R38 is indicated at intervals of 1-2 hours. With fever, R1 which will also decrease the inflammation. One is never to lose sight of the fact that such affections are also liable to reaction on the kidneys. And so R27 is also to come of eventual use.

On noting improvement, reduce the dose to 2-3 times a day. It is important not to stuff children with chocolate, sweets and eggs, as the overwork the liver and reduce appetite.
– Recommended food for children: milk puddings, oats flakes, vegetables and fruit. Meat is viewed as a complementary food whilst pork in any form: bacon, sausages, ham etc. will be avoided.
